  2. Sutekast Sunitinib malate(Sutekast) consists of the active ingredient sunitinib. It is used to treat kidney, colon, stomach and other cancers. It consists of the active ingredient sunitinib and is used for malignant tumors: • Cancer of the stomach and intestines, especially if they are ineffective or intolerant of another anti-cancer drug – imatinib. • Renal cancer, especially widespread, or renal metastases from tumors from other organs, even when cytokine treatment is ineffective. • Pancreatic cancer and metastases that are progressive, widespread from other organs.

  3. Dosage • The recommended dose is 50 mg per day for 4 weeks, followed by a mandatory rest period of 2 weeks. Therefore, the entire therapy cycle is 6 weeks. • Depending on individual tolerance, the dosage of Sutent can be reduced or increased by 12.5 mg.

  4. Side Effects • Nausea • Diarrhea • Stomach pain • Vomiting • Hair loss • Headache
