Terms of reference b) Facilitating coordinated application of standards and guidance documents for the purpose of assessment of product and management system certification bodies and testing laboratories operating in the IEC Conformity Assessment Systems, including development and sharing of common understanding of the technical issues and duly harmonizing the respective assessment procedures. Terms of reference • Wherever possible and reasonable, and with the agreement of the concerned certification bodies and testing laboratories, conducting common unified assessments. • Developingjoint training and workshops for the best accomplishment of on-site unified assessments. • (e) Sharing a large pool of IEC C.A. Joint Resolutions 3rd meeting held in Rio de Janeiro on 2012-10-20 Product Consultancy and Independence The Steering Committee agreed to transfer the assignment of TF4 to the IAF Working Group on Product Certification. The working group is requested to set clear principles of independence and impartiality in regard to ISO/IEC 17065:2012. Joint Resolutions 3rd meeting held in Rio de Janeiro on 2012-10-20  Harmonization of Assessment Cycles –TF3 The Steering Committee supported the recommendation to harmonize re-assessment cycle to 4-years and agreed to request the relevant Parties to start the approval process within their own structures. Task Force 3 is requested to continue with their assignments as directed (process scope extensions and optimisation of contact), and also the need to clarify surveillance issues associated with the 4-year cycle «Harmonization of the national accreditation system of Eurasian countries» 2013-12-23, Moscow
