GraphTrail: Analyzing Large Multivariate, Heterogeneous Networks with Exploration History

GraphTrail is a system for exploring and analyzing large multivariate, heterogeneous networks. It supports aggregation, drag-and-drop interactions, and integrated exploration history, making it easier to understand complex network data. This paper presents the design principles, lab and field studies, and demonstrates the utility of GraphTrail in various scenarios.
