ASEAN-RESP: Supporting Renewable Energy in ASEAN

The ASEAN Renewable Energy Support Programme (ASEAN-RESP) aims to strengthen regional cooperation and knowledge transfer in renewable energy within ASEAN. It provides technical and policy advice, supports capacity building and networking, and focuses on areas such as grid integration, financing, and rural electrification. This programme is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

  4. “The relevant actors in the ASEAN region use the regional technical and policy exchange to improve the framework conditions for renewable energies.” Objectives: Use of regional exchange • To strengthen effective regional cooperation on RE in the ASEAN • To transfer knowledge and experiences on renewable energy within the ASEAN region through efficient networking • To advise on technical and policy issues regarding the deployment of RE in the ASEAN member states • To support the implementation of the APAEC 2010-2015
