  2. The evergreen fir tree has traditionally been used to celebrate winter festivals (pagan and Christian) for thousands of years. Pagans used branches of it to decorate their homes during the winter solstice, as it made them think of the spring to come. The Romans used Fir Trees to decorate their temples at the festival of Saturnalia. Christians use it as a sign of everlasting life with God.

  3. People from Norway called Santa Claus Julenissen.He sometimes brought gifts.

  4. Santa Claus brings small gnomes called “Nisse”

  5. Families light candels every night from Christmas to New Year’s day

  6. People from Norway are very talented to decorate Christmas Tree. Thats why they give Christmas Tree to UK.

  9. Many different types of cakes and biscuits are eaten over the Christmas period in Norway.A popular bread is called ‘Julekake’.
