  3. Synopsis Mia a young woman falls for an Aerialist and they fall into a dreamlike world. They are separated and the only way back to each other is going through different tent worlds.

Other Stories • Cirque Du Soleli: Quidam • An imagination world away from the real world. • Cirque Du Soleli: Journey of a Man • Shows the story of how a young boy becomes a man. • Cirque Du Soleli: Alegria • A state of mind which represents “Jubilation”. • Themes are many from power being handed down to old age and youth.

  6. The Cirque History • Guy Laliberté and Gilles Ste-Croix founded the Cirque Du Soleli. • It is a Canadian entertainment company that they describe themselves as “dramatic mix of circus arts and street entertainment. • Based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Nouveau Cirque • No animals are included in the acts. • Each show has its own style and storyline. • Colorful cast of characters. • Uses continuous live music with performers rather than stage hands. • Grew rapidly from the 1990’s to 2000’s. • Went from one show to nineteen shows in 271 cities.

Le Grand Tour du Cirque Du Soleli • This was supposed to be only a one-year project. • Was their first big tour in 1984. • Were to supposed to go to eleven towns in Quebec over thirteen weeks. • In the beginning they had multitude of problems from rainwater to financial. • The original tent can be seen at Carnivàle Lune Bleue (Ottawa, Canada).

Styles of Make-up • Cosmetics • Foundation, eyeshadow, lipstick, and eyeliner. • Prosthetics • Used to make masks like monsters (molding). • Latex Skin • Like prosthetics but doesn’t go through the molding phase. • Eye Enhancers • Contact lenses, false eyelashes, and eyeglasses. • Accessories • Wigs/extra hair and ear props.
