  2. CITY OF GULFPORT PUBLIC WORKS SPECIAL PICKUP – TRASH Call Public Works at 727-893-1089 to schedule a special pickup. Single Item (furniture, mattress, and other like items) - $11.25/item “White Goods” (such as refrigerators and other appliances) - $22.50/item Vehicle Tire - $11.25/each Car Battery - $5.62/each Propane Tanks (20 lbs. or less and empty) - $11.25/each T.V. and Computer Components - $16.87/each Charges for large single trash pick-ups not listed above are based on size and type of equipment needed to remove. An additional fee will be charged according to the size of the load and billed as an additional charge on the utility bill. All special pickup piles must be placed curbside or by the alley for pickup.

  3. SPECIAL PICK-UP YARD – WASTE Call Public Works at 727-893-1089 to schedule a special pickup. Wednesday’s free yard waste pickups are for small piles of tree and shrubbery trimmings. Trimmings must not be bagged or bundled, but gathered neatly in a pile not to exceed 3.5 feet high, 4 feet wide or 4 feet long and cannot exceed 4 inches in diameter. Any amount of debris exceeding the above limitations, must be scheduled with Public Works for pick up, and will be billed as an extra charge on your utility bill. All special pickup piles must be placed curbside or by the alley for pickup. When any owner/occupant does not notify Public Works of a special pickup item(s), item(s) will be picked up and billed as an additional charge.

  4. Mower clippings and leaves must be bagged.You must call Public Works at 727-893-1089 to schedule a free pick up of these bags.The amount of leaves collected are recorded for the stormwater annual report.
