Strategies for Innovation Support: PAXIS Projects Workshop Outcomes in Salamanca, 2005

The PAXIS initiative, hosted by the European Commission, focused on developing strategies for innovation support during a joint workshop in Salamanca from June 23-24, 2005. The project aimed to cluster the 22 most innovative 'hot spots' in Europe, including regions from Italy, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom, among others. INNO-Initiative • INNO-Nets: Based on the ERA-net scheme, promote trans-European cooperation among national and/or regional innovation programmes • INNO-Actions: To complement the INNO-Nets by further promoting and supporting new innovative joint actions of national or sub-national innovation agencies aimed at helping enterprises to innovate • INNO-Net Learning Platform:To facilitate the further analysis of good practice solutions in support of innovation and the preparation of future coordinated or joint actions. Call for proposals expected in October 2005 Budget of 25,5 Mio Euro
