  3. Ichetucknee Springs Basin • 300 mi2, mostly in Columbia County, also in Suwannee, Baker & Union Counties • Lakes, streams and sinkholes drain into conduits in limestone

  4. Ichetucknee Trace • Dry river bed once a connection between Alligator Lake in Lake City and the Current Ichetucknee River (shown in 1829 map) • Defined as 75’ contour line • Partially filled during 2004 hurricane season
