  3. Registering for NTPEP DataMine Step 1 of 7: Access the NTPEP DataMine 2.0 web site athttp://data.ntpep.org Click on the “Register” link in the left hand content menu. 1

  4. Registering for NTPEP DataMine (continued…) Step 2 of 7: Type in your e-mail address, then click Next. Note: You MUST user your company e-mail address to register as Manufacturer role. 2

  5. Registering for NTPEP DataMine (continued…) Step 3 of 7: Provide the appropriate information in each field, including the required fields marked with an asterisk (*). Check the terms and agreement box. Type in Confirmation Code. Click “OK”. 3

  6. Registering for NTPEP DataMine (continued…) Step 4 of 7: You will receive a message indicating your successfully created your AASHTO account. To alert NTPEP Staff that you have created AASHTO account, please e-mail one of the following staff members: Greta Smith Katheryn Malusky Evan Rothblatt Dan Stegmaier 4

  7. Registering for NTPEP DataMine (continued…) Step 5 of 7: After creating your AASHTO Account, you will be directed to the NTPEP DataMine to complete your NTPEP DataMine registration. Choose “Manufacturer” as User Type. 5

  8. Registering for NTPEP DataMine (continued…) Step 6 of 7: Fill-in the appropriate details for Manufacturer. Choose the technical committee(s) you will be submitting products for. Click Submit. 6

  9. Registering for NTPEP DataMine (continued…) Step 7 of 7: Upon successful registration you will be automatically logged in as a Manufacturer and directed to My DataMine. 7

  10. NTPEP DataMine Login Step 1 of 2: Go to NTPEP DataMine at http://data.ntpep.org and enter your E-Mail Address and Password and click “Log In”. Note : If you have forgotten your password, type in your e-mail address and click “Get Password”. 1 Note

  12. How to Submit a Product Application Step 1 of 9: Login and go to “My DataMine”. Click “Submit Evaluation/Audit Application” to start a new product application. 1

  13. How to Submit a Product Application (continued…) Step 2 of 9: Choose the technical committee from the drop-down menu you want to submit a product for and click “Next” to continue. Note: You can review the fees prior to submitting your application by clicking on the “Fee Schedule” link. Note 2

How to Submit a Product Application (continued…) Step 3 of 9: Provide the appropriate information in each field, including the required fields marked with an asterisk (*) as it relates to your manufacturer and click “Next” to continue. Note : If you need to step away and finish submitting your application at another time, click “Save & Close”. 3 Note

How to Submit a Product Application (continued…) Step 4 of 9: Provide appropriate information in each field, including the required fields marked with an asterisk (*) as it relates to the product (system) you are submitting and click “Next” to continue. Note: If you are submitting a product which has not been submitted previously, click “new evaluation”. If you are resubmitting a product, which has already been submitted to NTPEP, click “existing requalification”. 4 Note

How to Submit a Product Application (continued…) Step 5 of 9: Provide any additional information in each field, including the required fields marked with an asterisk (*) as it relates to the product (system) you are submitting. Please be sure to upload the required documents and click “Next” to continue. 5

  17. How to Submit a Product Application (continued…) Step 6 of 9. Click “Next to continue. Note:If you choose to submit multiple products (system) per application, click “Add Another Product” to enter information on additional products (systems). You may remove a product from the application or edit manufacturer information from this screen 6 Note

  18. How to Submit a Product Application (continued…) Step 7 of 9: Read the Terms and Conditions, check the “I agree “ check box and click Submit to submit your product (system) application. 7

  19. How to Submit a Product Application (continued…) Step 8 of 9: You will receive a message indicating your product (system) has been successfully submitted. 8

  20. How to Submit a Product Application (continued…) Step 9 of 9: The product (system) will be listed on your “My DataMine” page. Note: The status of the product will change from “Submitted” to ‘Accepted” once AASHTO processes the product (system) submittal. If you see the status “In Progress” next to a product (system), this means that a particular product has not been submitted yet and the application still needs to be completed and submitted. Note 9

  21. Print Invoice for Payment Step 1 of 1: Login and go to “My DataMine”. Click on “Print Invoice” to access and submit payment for your invoice. This red dot will turn green once your payment is received at AASHTO. Note: For many technical committees, your product will not be tested until AASHTO receives payment for your invoice. 1 Note

  22. Review/Release of Test Results Step 1 of 5: Login and go to “My DataMine”. Scroll down the page until you see the product listed you are looking to review data for. Under the Data column, select Test from the drop-down combo box then click Go. 1

  23. Review/Release of Test Results (continued…) Step 2 of 5: Review the data for your product (system). Once you are finished reviewing, click the “Back” button to return to your “My DataMine” page. Note: Your data is in greencolor at this stage in the review/release process because it is set to private (Data will not be viewable to public). 2

  24. Review/Release of Test Results (continued…) Step 3 of 5: When you have returned to your “My DataMine” page, under the Action column, select Releasethen click Go. Note: A manufacturer may withdraw a product at any time during the submission/ testing process by sending an e-mail request to AASHTO. 3

  25. Review/Release of Test Results (continued…) Step 4 of 5: Choose the tests you want to take action on. If you want all of the test data to be released, select all of the boxes and include a comment indicating data can be released. If you have questions or want to withdraw a product (system), do not check mark those boxes and enter a comment in the comment box requesting the action you want to take. This comment will then be sent to the lead state and AASHTO. 4

  26. Review/Release of Test Results (continued…) Step 5 of 5: The data you have accepted to release will now appear in black(public) color, indicating the data has been released to the public. Any data in question will remain in green (private) until the manufacturer requests a retest and then accepts the data, or the manufacturer chooses to withdraw a product. Note: If data is proprietary; it will be in bluecolor, indicating it is restricted. 5

  27. Product Test Reports - Example: ECP Step 1 of 4: Login and go to “My DataMine”. Click on “Test Reports” in the left hand contents menu. Note: Not all technical committees have test reports. The technical committees who do not create test reports utilize the data tables. 1

  28. Product Test Reports - Example: ECP (continued…) Step 2 of 4: From the drop-down combo box, choose if you want to sort reports according to manufacturer or submittal year. Choose the manufacturer you want to review report(s) for. After selecting your search criteria, click search. 2

  29. Product Test Reports - Example: ECP (continued…) Step 3 of 4 From the drop-down box, choose the report you are interested in reviewing. Click “Go” to display test report. 3

  30. Product Test Reports - Example: ECP (continued…) Step 4 of 4: The report will then appear on the page. Note : To review another report, click on the “Back” button of click Test Reports from the left hand contents menu. 4

  31. Search Data – Example: SSM Step 1 of 5: Login and go to “My DataMine”. Click on “Search” in the left hand content menu. 1

  32. Search Data – Example: SSM (continued…) Step 2 of 5: Choose the criteria you want to search for. Type in the Product Name or NTPEP Number if you want to search for one particular product (system). Click on “Search”. 2

  33. Search Data – Example: SSM (continued…) Step 3 of 5: The search results will appear below your selected search criteria. To export the results into Microsoft Excel, click “Export Results” To save the search to be used again in the future, click “Save Search”. 3

  34. Search Data – Example: SSM (continued…) Step 4 of 5: If you save search criteria , click “Save Search”, the system will ask you to give this particular search a name. Then select “Save” the search criteria. You will be able to perform the search again by selecting Saved Search tab, Note: AASHTO can save search criteria for sharing with manufactures and States. 4

  35. Search Data – Example: SSM (continued…) Step 5 of 5: To access you saved search criteria, select “Saved Search.” Save Search screen allow access to your and shared Search criteria. Selecting a saved Search display corresponding search results. 5
