  8. From 16 years • Can marry • Buy tobacco • Ride a moped up to 50cc • Leave school • Buy fireworks

  9. From 17 years • Drive a car or motorbike • Give blood (with parents’ consent) • Fly an aircraft solo

  10. From 18 years • Vote • Serve on a jury • Buy alcohol in a bar or shop • Bet in a betting shop • Be tattooed

  11. From 21 years • Adopt a child • Stand as an MP or councillor • Drive an HGV or bus
