  3. Policy &Purpose • Eligibility:INTO Full and Associate Members in good standing. (Fees fully paid and received); • Priorities and Eligible projects/programs: primary purpose to • build capacity, • strengthen governance, • membership recruitment and • Your Member sustainability.

  4. How much and how valued? • INTO SGP funds would finance up to 50% of candidate project costs. • Matched with other resources, 1 to 1 basis, available cash basis or kind (fair value of kind). • Target applications costing $2,000-$4,000- SGP grant $1000 and $2000. • enable use SGP as leverage to obtain otherfunding

Programs & Activities Eligible for SGP Support • Transferring knowledge from experienced to less experienced members (travel costs, out of pocket expenses for specialist or volunteer advice; • Internships with experienced INTO members; • Fundraising and membership recruitment projects, • Prep. of business and conservation plans; • Strengthen financial management, web-based member outreach and promotion, and information dissemination; • Implement youth heritage education and conservation programs outreach.

  6. the grants would support the following • this basis, Activities and programs to provide improved performance in obtaining the necessary resources in carrying out and sustain on-going programs; • Transfer of knowledge from experienced members to the less experienced members by supporting travel costs and out of pocket expenses for specialists or volunteers to provide advice; • Provide support for internships arranged with experienced INTO members; • Support fundraising and membership recruitment projects, and preparation of business plans and conservation plans • Activities to strengthen financial management and member outreach.

  7. Ineligible Activities • Building or other construction activities; • Academic research; • Acquisition of real property or objects; • Historic resource surveys, inventories; • General support for conferences; • Taxes, duties and VAT charges.

  8. Process • AIM to keep simple and clear • INTO Response time We will try Harder • project priorities consistent with these criteria, and should be integral with your work program • Independent. objective & Numerical evaluation • completion within 2 years of approval
