  2. PowerLogic PowerView v2.0 • New native support for devices • Software updates • New PDI tool (PMC usage) • Target availability is October 2008.

  3. Supported Devices • The list of Supported Devices are: • Power Meter 210 • Power Meter 500 • Power Meter 710,750 • Power Meter 810, 820, 850, 870 • M22, M2222 and M26 extended I/O modules • Enercept • ION 6200 • Micrologic Trip Units Types P, H and A • Maximum number of Devices: • The maximum number of devices for this software application is 32.

  4. Device Communications to devices • Device Connections • Automatic Detection (Auto discovery of networked devices) • Software polls the network for supported devices • User may “speed up” the detection process with scan options • Devices are automatically named but can be re-configured by user • Manual connections • End users will have the option to manually add and delete device connections. • Supports Ethernet gateways, including EGX models and PM8ECC • Communications • Supports Ethernet gateways, including EGX models and PM8ECC • Devices with communication issues are highlighted in red

  5. Auto Detection of Devices

  6. Selective Scan Option

  7. Data Logging • Onboard Data Logging: • The Power Meter 800 (PM800) family will perform onboard data logging • The PM800 onboard logging interval is set in PMCU. PowerView Software will upload at regular 2 hour intervals automatically. • PC-based Data Logging: • The Power Meter 210, Power Meter 710 & 750, and Micrologic Trip Units A, P and H will perform PC-based data logging. • The PC-based data logging interval default is 15 minutes. • The PC-based data logging interval can be changed by the end user. • The measurements that are PC based data logged cannot be modified. • Quantities (measurements) Logged: • Current • Voltage • Power • power factor • energy, • demand power • demand current • total harmonic distortion (THD).

  8. Database Management • Database Backups: • The option to backup the database will be available. • Database Restores: • The option to restore the database will be available. • Historical Database Management: • The Historical database will be maintained below 2.9 GB in size. • Data will be deleted from the Historical database as first in – first out (FIFO) to prevent growth over 2.9GB. • Deleted Historical data is not retained.

  9. Real Time Display – Summary View

  10. Report Builder • Basic Queries: • Device(s) + Measurement(s)+ time range= Output (trends, charts, tables) • Both PC and Onboard (PM8’s) data available in database. • Pre-configured Queries: • Focused on providing end user with historical information on their Electrical Energy usage and power demand. • Energy usage for last day, week, month • Energy TOU (Time of Use) or Energy Bands outputs • Support for Time of Use Metering includes. • defining up to 3 schedules • Each Schedule can contain -> up to 10 periods (bands) for energy accumulation -> Supports weekends, special days, holidays • Reports Viewer: • End user will be expected to have Microsoft Excel to view reports. • All costing and other calculations (eg. Terrifications, rates) can be done manually by the customer in Excel.
