Referral History • “Referral History” for candidates and positions • For candidates, the history reflects all positions they have been referred to • For churches, the history reflects all candidates that have been referred to each position • History limited to Superintendents (as well as Ordered Ministry) and referral receivers

Referral Review and Undo • Ability to add potential referrals to a list (e.g. shopping cart) • Ability to review the potential referral list and selectively remove candidates • Option to submit referrals in delayed mode or immediately (if delayed, then Superintendent will have up to 30 minutes to undo) • The system will note if the candidate has already been referred or was a potential, during future matches

  7. Enhanced Printing • Printed Output is Enhanced With: • Larger fonts • Better overall formatting • More intuitive page breaks

  8. Candidate Photo • Ability for candidates to attach a photo to their profile • Automatic sizing of photos (consistency) • Clear instructions for adding photo

  9. Where: Candidate Profile (Additional Documents section)Who: Anyone with ability to view the profile will see the photo

  10. Match on Years of Experience • Ability for candidates to specify “Number of years in full-time ministry” • Ability for churches to specify “Years of full-time ministry required” for positions, in terms of the following ranges: • None – 3 • 4 – 7 • 8 – 14 • 15 or more

Personal Notes via Notepad • Notes can be recorded by Superintendents and Conference Staff via new Notepad feature (Conference specific) • The Notepad consists of three sections: • General Notes: Not specific to any particular candidate or position • Position Notes: Notes specific to a particular position • Candidate Notes: Notes specific to a particular candidate • Multiple notes can be made within each category and within specified “Subjects” • Notes can be “privatized” by Superintendent (so that only they can view/edit/delete) • Notepad is Context-Sensitive (will auto-navigate to the currently viewed Candidate / Position)

Superintendent(s)-Only Note • Ability for candidates to create a secured note, in order to invite self-disclosure • Candidate has the option of making the note either: • Viewable by their Superintendent only, or • Viewable by any Superintendent • In order to ensure that such notes are not printed with the candidate’s profile, a popup window will be used for viewing/editing

  16. Additional Candidate Fields • The following fields have been added to candidate profiles: • If Married, then Wedding Date • If Number of Children > 0, then names, genders and birth dates can be entered • Linked email addresses (hyperlinks which will launch email clients, when clicked)

Forced Matching • Ability to match from a specific position profile, in the Superintendent’s Conference, to any named candidate (regardless of Conference and availability status) • Ability to match from a specific candidate profile, in the Superintendent’s Conference, to any specific position (regardless of Conference) • Referrals only allowed for “Available” candidates

Position Viewing by Candidates • Allow candidates to see positions that are both available and already filled • Candidates can filter their position viewing based on the following: • View “Available for matching” positions • View “Unavailable, pursuing a candidate” positions • View “Unavailable, position filled” positions

View As … • Superintendents have the ability to search for a candidate profile (in their Conference) and then elect to “View as Candidate” • Superintendents have the ability to search for a position profile (in their Conference) and then elect to “View as Church” • In both cases, the Superintendent is in read-only mode, yet sees the section headers, field descriptions, instructions and all selectable options, just as the church and candidate see them.

Draft Profile Per-Field Comments • Superintendents have the ability to add per-field comments to candidate and church draft profiles submitted for review, which are visible by the submitting candidate or church • Submitting candidates and churches have the ability to add per-field comments to their draft profiles, which are visible by their Superintendent upon profile submission • Comments may be edited by the author

Draft Profile Modification Highlighting • In order to optimize the draft profile review process, fields that have been changed since the last time the draft profile was submitted-to / returned-by the Superintendent are highlighted. This makes the review process much easier (i.e. the Superintendent only have to focus on those fields that have changed)

  28. Restricted Documents • Candidates and/or churches have the option to attach “Restricted Documents” (not generally viewable) to their profiles • Restrictions can be specified for each attachment, as follows: • My Conference Superintendent • Any Superintendent • My Conference Superintendent and Staff • Any Superintendent and Conference Staff

  30. Call Before Referring • Ordered Ministry now has the ability to flag a candidate profile as “Call Before Referring” • The flag is only be viewable by Superintendents and Conference Staff (not by candidates or churches) • The flag appears in candidate listings and generate a bolded message to call Ordered Ministry before referring the candidate, if referral is attempted • It will be up to the Superintendent to call before referral (i.e. the system will not prohibit referral)

  32. Minister’s Roster • Candidates with approved profiles have the ability to download the Minister’s Roster (published by Ordered Ministry) once they have logged into CovConnect

  34. Save/Submit Warnings • Candidates/churches are warned if profile changes have been made, yet not submitted to their Superintendent for approval, when ending their CovConnect session (logging out or navigating away) • Candidates/churches are sent an email reminder after three days, if they have made profile modifications without submitting the profile to their Superintendent • Candidates/churches are warned if they navigate away from CovConnect without saving changes

  36. Conference Admin Staff Login • Conference Administrative Staff can now have their own CovConnect credentials, so that they don’t have to share with their Superintendents • Candidate profile access and Church Position profile access can be defined as follows: • View Only • Approve Ability • Match Ability • Refer Ability
