  17. Story Arc FOOD FIGHT The BBR rescues Kangaroos from unjust cookery Since Boss' land has run out of food, he forces a peaceful village of kangaroo farmers to serve his growing army 24 hours, 7 days a week. The poor villagers have to slave away endlessly for the unappreciative endless stream of rude, reptilian thugs. If the farmers refuse, their Outback village will face total destruction from Cass' eight legged, stadium-sized cafeteria mecha. The slimy Lenny wedges himself in as middleman in order to make a profit off of the roo's misfortunes. Bush Rescue to the, uh, Rescue. Disguising themselves as filthy lizard minions, TY and Shazza infiltrate the food line. Once inside, they barely sneak deep into the mecha past a legion of guards, commandeer its control center, and ultimately march the thing off a cliff. The gang's escape goes badly as they are now surrounded by tons of angry, hungry thugs. But the townsroos are able to save TY and return the favor by driving the lizards and the greedy Lenny away with the mother of all food fights. ATTACK OF THE MEGASUCKER The BBR must stop Boss Cass' mecha eco disaster rampage Bush Rescue's first rescue of the day is interrupted by bad news. Boss Cass' mammoth Megasucker DX mecha can suck the energy out of all natural resources, especially trees. Cass is using it to dig up Talismans. But when the mechanical monster sets its eyes on Bullamanka Dam's Hydroelectric Plant's unlimited power supply, Burramudgee Bush Rescue must jump into action before Boss Cass becomes invincible. Ranger Ken doesn't take kindly to 10 story mechas chewing up his forest, so he drafts poor TY into being Ranger for a Day. It's bumpy going there for awhile because Ken does things by the book but TY does things by the seat of the his pants. But in the end, TY and Shazza's wit and determination save the day despite Ken's wellmeaning but unrealistic rules.
