  1. Who we are L.I.B.A.N. is the First national and Sole International Young Lebanese Businesspeople Association non political, nonprofit based organization

  2. Objectivesof L.I.B.A.N. To contribute in the socio-economic development of Lebanon and countries where we establish chapters through: 1- Creating an interaction between the leading young Lebanese businesspersons in Lebanon and around the world and with the top local young businesspersons of each country. 2- Reinforcing economic and commercial relations between Lebanon and countries of Lebanese emigration contributing thus  to create the First Ever Lebanese International Business Lobby.       3- Attracting investments to Lebanon and to those countries in return.

  3. L.I.B.A.N. will become, at a later stage, a powerful business lobby that: • started to play a role in the social and economic development of Lebanon as well as of the nations in which we are opening chapters. • will liaise between governments and potential investors, • to grant them facilities and • to promote a good investment environment

  4. Provides to L.I.B.A.N. MEMBERS • most prominent business contacts in the countries where we have established chapters • which will open to them new investments opportunities new markets

  5. We think that what the Lebanese Diaspora lacks in order to be powerful is Solidarity and that is what we are precisely building.

  6.  L.I.B.A.N. is a very selective association that only groups: • THETOP 5 to 10 Leading Lebanese young businesspeople (or of Lebanese origin), • THE TOP 5 to 10 local businesspeople of each country(as guest members) into a foreign Chapter that is honorably presided by the Lebanese Ambassador in the specified country and the Consul as Honorary Member A coordinator (President) of the chapter is then appointed

  7. Responsibiliities of the President of the L.I.B.A.N.’s chapter: to coordinate between the foreign chapter of L.I.B.A.N. and the Lebanese Committee based in Lebanon. (N.B. / The age limit for members is 20's - 50’s). This committee gathers the leading 5 to 10 Lebanese businesspeople, based in Lebanon, who own important investments in the specified country and is honorably presided by the accredited Ambassador in Lebanon with the Commercial Counselor as Honorary Member.

  8. L.I.B.A.N. achievements: • We have opened so far 10 chapters in the MENA region (Jordan, Egypt, Iraq (Baghdad & Kurdistan), Syria, Kuwait, Turkey, Cyprus, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria) • We are currently working on opening others in the rest of the Arab region. • We have coordinators working on opening new chapters in the USA, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Poland, England, Japan, Australia, and Mexico... Hopefully, this will enable us to give back to Lebanon its strategic role of hub between the West and our market of more than 300 million people.

L.I.B.A.N. achievements: • L.I.B.A.N. has launched two years ago, in the presence of the President of the Republic, General Emile Lahoud, The First Arab Forum For Young Entrepreneurs Associations. • This Arab Forum represents 15 Arab countries through their national young entrepreneurs associations, and aims to cover soon the 22 Middle East and Gulf countries. • L.I.B.A.N. received an award from the President of the Republic for this achievement.

  10. L.I.B.A.N. achievements: The First Arab-International Forum for Young Entrepreneurs & Businesspeople • 30th September/1st of October 2011 • 600 Entrepreneurs from 49 countries • 115 medias represented.(CNN media partnership) • Funding young entrepreneurs • Opening new markets for them

The Second Arab-International Forum for Young Entrepreneurs & Businesspeople L.I.B.A.N.’s soonestevent: • 5th and 6th of October 2012 • Larger international presence • Renewing successful partnership with Federation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Agriculture in Lebanon • Exhibition hall for Funds, VC and Angel Investors to allow pitching to entrepreneurs

Changing the way people think, work and manage is not an easy task, but without it, your career is in danger. A changeis essential , and to see Lebanese Universities going towards teaching the best practices in Project Management is a positive change with no doubt.

  14. Projects exists in every industry and especially in these days where competitive advantage is essential to survive. The PMP preparation course supplies those who attend it with the knowledge they need to optimally and efficiently manage a project.
