Mexico • Location: Middle America, boarding the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Sea • In Mexico they are very traditional, and the father of the family is the head decision maker. • Guacamole is a very traditional and cultural food that originated there made from avacados. • Mexicans consider it very important and their duty to help out family members whenever needed. • A well known saying in Mexico is : Nuncafaltaunabestiamuerta para un zopilotehambriento. It means there´ll always be a dead beast for a hungry vulture, which is meant to be interpreted to show that life always gives opportunities.

Costa Rica • Location: Central American isthmus, Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Caribbean Sea to the east. • Coffee is grown in several regions of Costa Rica and is sold to all different countries all over the world. • A big tourist place in Costa Rica is Playa Grande. It is a beach town on the Pacific coast of the country. People also claim that it is one of the best surfing spots. • Over 77% of the people in Costa Rica are catholic. • Most of the people there are fun loving, peaceful and family oriented. • Gallo Pinto is a very popular breakfast served there and it consists of black beans mixed with rice. • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ND5BJjmF9y0

Chile • Location: Southern South America boarding the south Pacific Ocean between Argentina and Peru. • Chancho en Piedra is a typical Chilean seasoning that is made with tomatoes, onions, and garlic ground together. • Most Chileans are European or have a European mixed background. • Santiago Chile is a very touristy place as it is the capital of Chile. The cobbled streets have historical background, and the sculptures show cultural significance. • Chile is the leading producer and exporter of certain fruits, berries, vegitables, fish, and meats.

Peru • Location: South America’s central Pacific coast • Peru is an international leader in fishing, producing nearly 10 percent of the world's fish catch. • The draws of tourism in Peru are for usually the Amazon rain forest and high Andes, including the Colca Canyon, the world's deepest, and archaeological sites such as Machu Picchu, considered to be the "lost city of the Incas.“ • It has been said that Peruvians really like music and don’t get sick of one song easily and may play it on repeat again, again, and again. • A famous animal in the states in a guinea pig, but a famous Peruvian dish is called Cuy and it has been said that there is no way to sugar coat it! • The Sacred Valley is a top tourist spot in Peru, it is the ancient city of Machu Picchu and is close to the Inca capital of Cusco.

  7. Argentina • Argentina comes from the Latin term “argentum”, meaning “land of silver”. • Location: Southeastern South America • You may hear “bajáun cambio!” in Argentina a lot. It means Chill Out! Relax! It is one of their popular sayings there. • Buenos Aires is a popular place to go to because of its European architecture to shopping, nightlife, and more. Iguazu Falls is the most popular place to go because of its majestic waterfalls. • Argentina also has a Jewish population of about 350,000, the fifth-largest in the world. • Home to 57,000 residents, Ushuaia, Argentina is the southernmost city in the world. • Argentina is renowned for its beef. A favorite cut is the “bife de chorizo”, served tender and juicy, but all cuts are of very high quality.

  8. Worldwide • As you can see, Spanish is a worldwide speaking language. Different languages conclude to different cultures which makes our world so diverse and unique. • Spanish is an official language in 20 sovereign states and one dependent entity, totaling around 423 million people.
