  2. SET-UP AND MODIFY SEARCH AGENTS Overview Overview Now that you’ve updated your Talent Record and want to see what jobs are currently available in the system, you can set-up a search agent. This is an OR system feature valid for 90 days that lets you specify a set of criteria and will alert you should a job be posted matching the criteria that you have set. To create a search agent, click the boxes on the left side of the page for an overview of the process. Set-Up View This is an interactive document, so click the buttons instead of scrolling through the pages for easier navigation. Modify Summary References Use the buttons below! • USEFUL TIP: Search Agents are only valid for 90 days. You will receive an email reminder prior to the expiration.

  3. SET-UP AND MODIFY SEARCH AGENTS Set-Up a Search Agent Overview Using the Advanced Search link from the Welcome page, specify the criteria of the search agent that you want to set-up. You can select multiple criteria for some fields. Deselect criteria by clicking the “x” mark beside it. Click Search and once you are in the results page. In the Search page, click Save this search to set-up a search agent. A pop-up will appear and ask you to fill-out the Search Name, Frequency, and Email Address of the recipient. Hit Save and a prompt will appear to notify you that your search has been saved. Set-Up View Modify Summary References • USEFUL TIP: Enter only the value and not the word “JG” in the JG field. You may choose multiple Job Group options in setting-up a Search Agent.

  4. SET-UP AND MODIFY SEARCH AGENTS View a Search Agent Overview • Go to the Employee Zone > Dashboard > Searches. You may view all the search agents you have created in this page. Several actions are included from the search agent box; • Run Search lets you run the search to refresh the results for the day, • Configure enables you to change the search agent name, frequency and recipient, • Renew lets you renew the search agent for another 90 days and; • Delete lets you remove the search agent. Set-Up View Modify Summary References • USEFUL TIP: When searching for an MOR or Re-Org batch, specify the batch name in the Batch field of your search page.

  5. SET-UP AND MODIFY SEARCH AGENTS Modify a Search Agent Overview Go to the Employee Zone > Dashboard > Searches > Run Search. In the results page, click Advanced Search. You can then make modifications to the search criteria on this page. Hit Search and once you are in the results page, click Save this search and overwrite the existing search by clicking Save to modify your current Search Agent filters. Set-Up View Modify Summary References • USEFUL TIP: To widen your search parameters, enter a broad location value or search for “virtual” roles in the “Work Location” field and “Country of Work Location” field.

  6. SET-UP AND MODIFY SEARCH AGENTS Summary Overview • Here are some key notes when setting up your search agents: • Search agents are useful tools in your job search. Setting up a few search agents will help you find a role you are interested in as you are automatically alerted if roles are posted that match your criteria. • You may choose multiple criteria within a search agent to widen your search parameters. • Search agents are only valid for 90 days. If you wish to continue receiving notifications for roles within the same parameters, you may renew the search agent.
