  3. Character of Boaz • Faith in God (Ruth 2:4, 12) • Protective (2:8-9) • Attentive (2:11) • Compassionate (2:14-16) • Honorable (3:10-13) • Diligent (3:18)

Their Marriage • One of “Duty” – not “Dating process” (4:7-10, Deut. 25:5-10, 2:20, Titus 2:4) • Cultural Difference : Boaz (Israelite) and Ruth (Moabite) (2:1-2, Acts 17:26, I Cor. 7:13-14) • Age Difference (3:10, 2:21) • Ruth Proposed – Not the man (3:9) • Pre-marital night together – integrity with discreet morning departure (3:7-8, 13-14) • How Could It Work?
