Join me on my journey as an intern at Kaimuki Public Library, where I delved into various tasks including processing new books, conducting story time for children and assisting at the adult reference desk. I also undertook projects such as weeding the juvenile fiction section, creating booklists, and evaluating new library resources. Through this experience, I gained professional insights, collaborated with library professionals, and improved my confidence in delivering story time sessions. Evaluation of the internship highlighted a welcoming environment, helpful supervisors, and the valuable skills I developed. 8
