  3. Why pathways – what was the issue? • A lot of guidance • Different guidance programmes • Difficult to find all relevant information on a given topic • Not always easy to see how guidance from different programmes fits together • No linking across related topics

  5. What are NICE pathways? • Bring together related guidance, between and within topics • Link other products – Quality Standards, implementation support tools etc • Provide a useful format for multiple audiences – a network of NICE information Easier quicker access to the evidence
