Success Stories SITUATION The business marketing division of Cingular Wireless, a leading wireless telecom provider, wanted to enhance the wireless experience for its business customers as a way to increase its market share in this vital (and highly competitive) segment. • APPROACH • We constructed an approach comprising: • An assessment / discovery (internal and external) of customer needs designed to identify key customer issues (factors) by customer segment; • Baseline CustomerValu™ research to quantify the relative importance customers place on each factor and the relative performance of each industry player; • A translation of results into strategic initiatives; and • A client workshop to present results and analysis to and brainstorm with a multi-disciplinary management team in order to true up initiatives and gain widespread buy-in on action plan.   11. Proposed Voter Self-Traceability Solution Background (Why) Under current conditions, when an individual voter votes they have no mechanism to ascertain that their vote has been counted. They simply hope for the best. The current voting machines (Diebold and others) have inconsistent reliability. Performix Voter Self-Traceability Application (How) At the top each ballot there is a unique number. After casting the vote, the data will be picked by the existing system and a record for every vote casted will be sent to the Performix data processing application. Performix application will provide that record on a secured site, accessible to the voter by using their unique number on the form. Voters who desire to trace their vote would peel off the sticker off the ballot. The morning after the polls, they will visit the website indicated on the sticker and punch in their unique code to view how their vote has been captured by the automation at the voting booth.
