It is important for customers to receive an excellent experience and want to return and recommend the museum. During my placement at the British Museum conducting visitor research I spoke to hundreds of visitors about their wants, needs and expectations for the museum. This experience offered me a transferable insight into museum and heritage sight visitors. Disciplined Team Player and Team Leader: Throughout my career at Tesco I have worked in many different positions and levels and have found that at the heart of any position in the store is the idea of teamwork. I also understand and know that any heritage site or museum only succeeds through its staff and volunteers functioning as a strong team. No site can survive without its voluntary base and it is important to recognise their essential input. Passion for History: I greatly enjoy military heritage and I would love to bring my skills and experience to a museum that tells the story of war, its impact upon those whose fought in war and those it left behind. Military history is a significant part of our heritage that should not be forgotten. I have a great passion for learning about the past and bringing it into the public domain through our museums and heritage sites.
