CVW-2 MK-46 / MK-54 Firing Procedures • When units check in on range they will be given a range brief and status. • Units will pass weapon line up including serial numbers and Pingercodes. • Once status “GREEN RANGE” is passed units are clear to prosecute • target to gain a firing solution. • When units are ready for weapon delivery they will notify range of serial • number and Pingercode. • Aircraft will give a 5min standby and then can compress count to • 30 seconds as desired. • Aircraft will call drops with 3 nows. • Aircraft call all bouy spits with 3 NOWS, Type, Channel number • BOUY CHANNELS 1, 3, & 8 ARE NOT AUTHORIZED ON THE RANGE • CALL TO MARK DIP & BREAK DIP
