  2. Project Overview • The Latin Dance/Music interactive multimedia project is being developed to enhance and profit the Latin Dance Studio. In addition to their on-site instructional classes, this project will add a web site, Informational Kiosks and an instructional DVD video to enrich the company.

  3. Goals • Latin Dance Instruction Company to provide enhancement to their business for the purpose of increasing profit.

  4. Overall Objectives • To utilize three (3) separate interactive medias to communicate, instruct, inform and entertain their clients. a) Implementation of a Web site b) Implementation of a Kiosk c) Implementation of a DVD instructional video.

  5. Objective #1Website Implementation • Basic Content: • Class Details • Locate dance studio b) Class schedule • Student photography taken in class - (resource needs to be identified to take photography) • Testimonials e) Store/Merchandise f) Local Latin Clubs/Events

User Characteristics • Visitors to the web site will be seeking information about Latin Dances and/or Music • Current Clients of the Dance Studio that are searching for the class schedule, class photos, events or location. • Visitors to the Kiosks are persons that have in an interest in Latin Music/Dance and are curious what the company is offering.

  13. General Constraints • Limitations to the web site would be persons that do not have an internet connection. Likewise, the DVD video could not be used if a DVD player is not available.

  14. Assumptions • It is assumed that the Latin Dance Studio is up and running and has a current Client base.

  15. Other Hardware/Software • A printer would be useful in conjunction with the web site if the user had intentions of printing the class schedule or local events. • No software required

  16. User Profiles • The user can be of any background and any age. The goals of the user are to learn to dance Latin-style, improve on their dance skills that they already have or purchase dance shoes or related merchandise. Samples User’s are as follows:
