  1. An Insight into Army Synthetic Training The main aim of the army synthetic training environment is to provide a cognitive, collective, and mission rehearsal ability to operate institutional and self-development training domains. It also focuses on converging the virtual, constructive as well as gaming training environment into a single Synthetic Training Environment for Active as well as Reserve Components and civilians as well. It offers training services to ground, dismounted as well as aerial platforms and command post-points-of-need. The Synthetic Training Environment is shortly known as STE. It will cooperate with and augment live training, the main training approach for the Army. It will allow the Army to offer a single Synthetic Training Environment that offers a training service to the PoN. The main ability will allow the training candidate to train all warfighting functions (WFF) and the human dimension throughout all echelons with joint and Unified Action Partners (UAP) in the framework of Unified Land Operations (ULO). The opportunity contains the training and mission rehearsal capability, training interfaces with Network Enable Mission Command (NeMC) Initial Capability Document (ICD) demarcated platforms and CPs, interfaces with operational networks, interfaces to live training instrumentation as well as native interoperability with the Common Operating Environment (COE). Synthetic Training Environment Virtual Military Equipment (VME) that influences Commercial off the Shelf (COTS), as well as Government off the Shelf (GOTS) hardware, will deliver an immersive and semi-immersive training skill to the training candidate. The Synthetic Training Environment will not have a production line to deliver custom hardware. Rather than, it will have an integration line that participates in COTS as well as GOTS hardware.
