The Collapse of the European Security System

This book explores the events leading to the collapse of the European security system, focusing on Germany's efforts to maintain its army despite the suspicions of the Allies. It delves into the strategies of General Hans Von Seeckt and the impact of the Allied inspection team being shut down. The consequences of European disarmament, the failed attempts at universal disarmament, and the ramifications of the Locarno Treaty are also examined. The book concludes with an analysis of Hitler's plan to rearm Germany and the subsequent outbreak of World War II.
