Data Analysis by Light , 3/12/2012 “Team Name: Vladimir Baraban, Minh Ngo, Ricardo Garcia” Problem Definition Competitive Analysis • Statement: Shoe stores have sale to eliminate their overstock inventory. We want to create a working device that will help the manager with ordering new shoe. • Scope: Be able to size of the object. • Schedule: Finish proposal by 10/18/2011 • Implement the proposal into a demo by the end of Winter quarter 2012 • Refine the demo into a working prototype by the end of Spring quarter 2012 • Resources: material's, time, and equipment. • There are a few companies make robots, I don’t see machine that will help you measure size of and object. Potential Applications • Help shoe stores keep up with inventory specific to their costumer need. Solution Specifications Future Improvement • Increase input count. • Implement better input device. • Switching to microprocessor instead of using logic gate. • Develop software side of the project. • We use logic gates and solar cells to implement the device.
