  6. Syllabus In groups of 3, read through the syllabus and compose at least three questions about the syllabus for me to answer.

What is “Empirical”? • The basis for the researcher’s claims are observable and shared evidence – observable by the senses. • The term “empirical” usually connotes the use systematic testing of theory based hypothesis – Science • Caution: To some, “Empirical” is synonymous with the use of laboratory type ‘experiments’

People and systems that force division are automatically suspect as biased 4. Faith precedes and guides reason and observation 5. I marvel at the “faith” I see by some in “Science.”
