Update on North American FIS Travel Entry Responsibilities for USSA Competitions

It clarifies that USSA does not write travel letters for certain competitions but will act as a clearinghouse for foreign travel letters.   2. Entry Responsibility • USSA Staff • NorAm Cups • National Championships • Out of country competitions • FIS-U for USA non-school quota • Clubs • FIS-U for schools • Regional and Divisional FIS

  3. Travel Letters • USSA does not write travel letters • USSA does accept travel letters for FIS-U and FIS but not for NorAms or Nationals (direct entry necessary) • USSA will act as clearing house for all foreign travel letters

  4. UNI / MAS • FIS-Uni • Domestic entries from school coaches or from Regional staff • Foreign entries from school coaches with copy of travel letter and listing on USSA summary • FIS Masters • FIS Masters in Mammoth, CA • USA FIS masters entries from Bill Skinner

  5. Ski Cross • Managed by USSA Snowboarding • Abbi Nyberg • anyberg@ussa.org

  6. Insurance Documentation • Sanctioned USSA competitions are insured • Certificates of insurance upon request of organizer
