    3. Seed A seed is the very first step in the plant life cycle A seed is a little plant that has not started to grow yet Seeds can come from a package or from plants

    4. Root The second step in the plant life cycle is the root The root pushes down in the soil While the root grows, it pushes the seed up

    5. Stem The stem is the third step in the plant life cycle The stem begins to form as the root pushes down in the soil and pushes up on the seed

    6. Leaves Leaves are the fourth step in the plant life cycle The leaves begin to grow on the stem

    7. Plant The plant is the last step in the life cycle The plant will grown into whatever the seed was If the seed was an apple tree seed, it will grow into an apple tree, if the seed was a rose seed, it will grown into a rose
