Pengertian • Pasanganduapersamaan linear dengandua variable x dan y yang memilikibentukumum : • Denganpenyelesaiannyaterpenuhiolehpasanganterurutdisebutsistempersamaan linear dengandua variable. • Persamaanaljabardiatasdisebutpersamaan linear dengandua variable dengan a, b, c, p, q, dan r anggota R serta a, b, p, dan q ≠ 0. Pasanganterurutdisebutpenyelesaian SPLDV dan disebuthimpunanpenyelesaiansistempersamaannya.

  4. Langkah-langkah menentukan himpunan penyelesaian dari SPLDV dengan metode substitusi : 1.Pilih salahsatupersamaan yang sederhana. Nyatakan y sebagaifungsi x atau x sebagaifungsi y. 2.Substituskan y atau x yang didapatpadalangkah 1 kepersamaan yang lainnya, sehinggadidapatpenyelesaiannya. 3.Tulislah himpunanpenyelesaiannya.
