    3. Plant Disease There are two types of Plant Diseases: Abiotic (non-living cause) Biotic (caused by living organism)

    4. Abiotic Disease When the disease of a plant is caused by non-living occurrences: Environmental (moisture, climate and soil) Pesticide exposure Nutritional deficiencies Mechanical means

    5. Abiotic Disease Example: A black lesion on the blossom end or side of a tomato fruit, usually associated with drought, widely fluctuating moisture conditions, and/or calcium deficiencies.
