  3. 2002 NASMRM Symposium • PURPOSE • Provide advice to the CNGB and other NGB leaders on matters relating to USPFO operations and other matters. • Conduct studies and surveys to enhance the effectiveness and overall readiness posture of the National Guard. • Provide feedback and serve as a “sounding board” on changes and the potential impact at the State level. • Assist in developing and promoting standardized procedures for the USPFO. • Recommend changes to policies and procedures within the NGB relating to the statutory requirements of the USPFO.

  4. 2002 NASMRM Symposium • MEMBERSHIP • Seven individuals serve as the USPFO Advisory Council: • One member from each of the 5 Regions. (Members appointed by NGB) • NGB-PF a charter designated member. • Chair of the USPFO Advisory Council elected from appointed members.
