Mrs. Wernikowski has been teaching for 20 years. She taught at Thalia Elementary School in Virginia Beach for 14 years and transferred to Three Oaks Elementary when it opened in 2005. She has been at Three Oaks since then. While in college, she worked as a Union Supervisor. After she moved to Virginia Beach, she worked at the Naval Daycare Center until she got a job teaching. She currently teaches K-2 special education.
