  4. Employment and Working conditions Work as slaves No shoes Cannot leave the job because they need the pay Do arduous work such as picking out and cutting stones Work in very bad weather conditions No days off Child labor

  5. “Equipped with nothing more sophisticated than a brush and bucket or pieces of cardboard, such groups have cleaned the toilets of higher-caste people, carrying away the waste, or "nightsoil", in baskets placed on their heads”

  6. Education Cannot send children to school Need more money at home Have to do what family once did No future Parents still have hope, and wish to send their children to school

  7. Poverty-health conditions Live on less then a dollar a day Working conditions can affect health conditions Work in sewers Have no protection towards infectious diseases Do not go to the doctor so often Poor medical literacy
