Welcome!! • First issue of this event • Main goals: • Dedicated to the development and the application of parallel and cable-driven robots, • With the aim of promoting interactions between academia and industry, • To create stronger (and even new) links between academia and industry around the considered workshop topics • To achieve these goals, our purpose was to take advantage of the INNOROBO event! EUROPEAN WORKSHOP on APPLICATIONS of PARALLEL and CABLE-DRIVEN ROBOTS

Some key figures • Number of participants: 40 • Number of academic / industry members: 24 / 16 • 1 day with: • 2 plenary sessions • 2 poster sessions for a total of 14 poster contributions • 1 debate with 5 companies coming from 3 EU countries • Represented countries (when considering all participants): EUROPEAN WORKSHOP on APPLICATIONS of PARALLEL and CABLE-DRIVEN ROBOTS
