  2. Erhlenmeyer Flask An erhlenmeyer flask has a conical base and a small mouth. It holds liquids and allows them to be stoppered and swirled.

  3. Funnel A Funnel is a cone shaped object with a long neck that allows liquids to be transferred to a small-necked container. It helps to avoid spills in a lab.

  4. Graduated cylinder A graduated cylinder measure the volume of a liquid. It is more precise than a beaker due to its smaller graduations (space between markings)

  5. Hot plate A hot plate heats chemicals on a hot, flat surface.

  6. Petri dish A petri dish is a shallow, clear dish that allows growth and observation of organisms such as bacteria, mold, etc.
