    • For most of Lebanon’s history, the communities have lived together in peace

    • Pear shaped instrument similar to a lute
  • Tabla
    • Drums played with many different hand positions
    • The heel of the hand can be pressed into and slid along the head to bend the tone
    • Black spot made of paste and alters the overtones of the sound
    • Blocks are placed in the ropes at the side to alter the tuning
  • Mizmar
