  4. Thesis • Most important part • Must answer all parts of the FRQ • Will be the map of the response

  5. Introduction • Comes first • Has the thesis • Can be just the thesis • This does not apply to DBQ • Don’t waste time

  6. Body 3 Preferred • General point to be made • Explanation of terms if needed • Evidence • Evidence • Evidence • Tie to thesis

  7. Conclusion • the third paragraph of a comparison response is the conclusion • Not needed for 3 body essay
