  2. Affordable Care Act (ACA)Implementation • Rules for temporary employees have changed • No longer 6 months plus a 6 month extension • Now, 1,300 hours per a 12 month period • Hours can be in any combination, but can not exceed 1,300 • New clock started on May 1, 2014

  3. Affordable Care Act (ACA)Implementation • Transition Period from May 1, 2014 to October 31, 2014 • May 1 vs May 2 • Transition Period employees are limited to 744 hours between May 1 and October 31 • If they exceed that number, they will become benefits eligible in 2015
