TRF Fundraising Counts for HALF the Credit in the Squaw Creek Resort Memorial Day Giveaway ● 25% of the Score for the club with the highest EREY percentage on January 31, 2013, from Foundation Giving beginning on July 1, 2012 ● 25% of the Score for the club with the largest percentage increase to TRF Program Fund Giving from the 2011-12 Rotary Year to January 31, 2013, and which also has $200 per capita giving during the same time period

Recognition for Pledges and Contributions Recognition Pins for Double Sustainers ($200), Super Sustainers ($500) and Paul Harris Society ($1,000) will be presented by District Governor Joe Hamilton on his Club Visit to anyone who PLEDGES a contribution to the Annual Programs Fund.   17. Who Belongs to the Paul Harris Society? Those Rotarians and friends of Rotary who wish to support The Rotary Foundation in a more substantial way each year. Paul Harris Society members annually donate $1,000 or more to: • Annual Programs Fund • PolioPlus • PolioPlus Partners • Humanitarian Grants Program

  18. Requirements for Joining the PHS Each DONOR must give a minimum of $1,000 in new cash donations per year to qualify. Recognition Points, contributions to The Permanent Fund and pledges do not count. Membership is awarded only when the full amount is received by The Rotary Foundation.

  19. Sounds like a lot but consider this: $1,000/yr = $83.33/month or $19.23/week Use TRF-DIRECT to transfer funds from U.S. based checking account savings account credit card account on an ongoing basis. ($85/month; $250/quarter; $1,000/year…) Additional Points

Annual Fund to support humanitarian projects around the globe. Vocational Training Teams (VTT). Scholarship Grants to further international understanding. Rotary World Peace Fellowships.

  21. Paul Harris Society Benefits For Paul Harris Society Members A Certificate of Appreciation and Recognition signed by the Governor. A District Paul Harris Society pin. Funding of a new Paul Harris Fellowship each year. A new Paul Harris Fellow pin at the appropriate level. Eventual attainment of "Major Donor" status at $10,000 donated. Invitation to the Governor’s private reception at the District Conference. Fellowship with Society members at all Rotary events.

  22. Status of the District’s Paul Harris Society • In the 2011-2012 Rotary year, about 1/3 of TRF donations came from PHS members • The leading clubs in number of PHS Members were: • Cupertino – 24 • Livermore - 16 • Oakland – 15 • Sunnyvale - 9 29
