  3. Carne Asada Sale • When: Today, November 17, 2009 • Where: University Quad • Time: 11:30- 1:30 PM • Why: Raise money for your SHSE events!!!

  4. Dodge Ball Tournament • When: Saturday, November 21, 2009 • Where: Kraemer Memorial Park • Time: 9:00 AM- TBD • Cal State Fullerton is hosting the 6th Annual SHPE Dodge Ball Tournament. Come meet your fellow SHPE-mates from region II!

  5. IE SHPE BBQ Potluck Social • When: Saturday, November 25, 2009 • Where: Upland Memorial Park • Time: 1:00- 5:00 PM • Come and hang out with a local professional SHPE chapter! Carpool will be set.

  6. Breakfast With Industry • When: January 29, 2009 • Date is fast approaching! Please email us your resumes!! • industryrelations@calpolyshse.org

  7. Sports • Soccer • Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00 PM • Football • Wednesdays from 8:00-9:00 PM • Volleyball • Thursdays from 8:00-9:00 PM

  8. Community Service • When: Saturday, November 21, 2009 • Friends and Neighbors Service Day • Habitat for Humanity • tend game booths and help out with a picnic event. • Pomona Big Read • work with art-based activities and distributing books to children. • Children's Center • help with cleaning up the center. • Union Station Homeless Services • help clean and season turkeys. • Americorps Bus Stop Beautification Project • receive all-day bus passes (will be provided) to visit various bus stops to clean up the surrounding area.

  9. Holiday Food Drive • When: Now- December 11, 2009 • Where: Drop off donations in Bldg 9- Donations will be given to Shepherds Pantry • http://shepherdspantry.com

  10. Cabin Trip • When: Friday, Dec 12 – Sunday, Dec 14 • Where: Big Bear Lake, CA • Why: The most anticipated event of the year

Cabin Trip Information • Cost: $45 before Nov. 24, $50 on or after Nov. 24. • Gift exchange • Saturday night • Range: $10 - $25 • Food • Friday: Potluck – Bring something! • Saturday: Breakfast and Dinner • Snowboarding • Saturday all day • Rental Equipment: About $20 • Lift ticket: $50 at Big Bear
