What is Pathology? Pathology is a branch of medical science concerning the examination of organs, tissues, and bodily fluids to diagnose diseases. Pathologists work alongside doctors to help diagnose patients and decide the proper treatments for whatever condition the patient may have.
Types of Pathology • Anatomical- involves the study and diagnoses on disease based on the examination of surgically removed bodily specimens or sometimes even the whole body • Clinical- the analysis of blood, urine, and tissue samples to diagnose diseases
