Use the checklist as follows to help you. • Preparation: Does he prepare for the call? • Purpose: Is the purpose of the call clear? • People: Are the introductions adequate? • Information: Is the information clearly communicated? • Tone: Is the atmosphere positive? • Watch VCD I again. Identify these moments: • Nick shows that he hasn’t familiarized himself with the name of the person he’s calling • Nick shows that he hasn’t noted the dates of the exhibition • Nick shows that he hasn’t really thought about what he wants Helen to do
