  12. A phrase is a musical sentence. A phrase is a complete musical thought. In Language Arts class we call it a sentence or a complete clause.

  13. What is beat?

  14. Beat is time chopped into equal pieces.Beat is a timed framework for sound. We can perform beat or just sense it.

  16. Rhythm is the way the words go. It is the way we speak. ta tadi beep, bop, la, loo

  17. Remember, “tadi” or “2 eighths” can be written 2 different ways. This way has flags. This way has a beam.
