  1. How to do Multiplication By: Alexis Johnson

  2. The Beginning 1st you make sure you have the largest number at the top and the smallest number on the bottom. Like This! 65 x45

  3. Next… Next, you put a stiff line under the Smallest number. (Bottom) Like this! 65 x45

  4. Next (Again) Next, you multiply 5 x 5. which is 25. But sense it is more than 10 you have to put the 2 on top of the 6! Like this! 2 65 x45 5

  5. After you do that… After you do that you go to the next number over on the top and multiply 5 x 6… Which is 30. Like this!!! 2 65 x45 325

  6. Then… • First, you put a zero for the place holder. Then you go to the next number over from the bottom numbers and multiply that by 5. So the number sentence should be…4x5 which is…20. It should look like this so far… 2 22 65 x45 325 00

  7. Then… • Then you do 4x6 which is 24. but then add the number onto of 6 to the answer. So far it should look like this… • 22 65 x45 325 2600

  8. Then… • You but another stiff line under the 2,600. So far it should look like this… 22 65 x45 325 + 2600

  9. Lastly • You add all of the numbers in between both lines and you should get this… 22 65 x45 325 + 2600 2,925

  10. That’s the multiplication method!
