Teacher training and CPD programmes Programmes: Focus on theories of adult learning and LLN acquisition, influence of personal, social, cultural, economic factors, knowledge of language and mathematical theoretical systems and frameworks, application of all of these to teaching Many programmes favour a social practice approach to LLN Not specific to workplace or embedded approaches, but with a focus on contextualised learning
