  2. Short history of Gift of Hope’s NDLM Outreach • Hospital Development created donor designation initiatives • No guidelines or expectations • Resources for promotion were limited and generically branded • Results were mixed

  3. Hospitals for Hope as an Alternative • Provides hospitals with a turnkey campaign • Engages hospital staff and community with less effort • Uses best practices identified from previous NDLM’s • Takes onus off of HD and hospital partners to design and implement April campaign

  5. On-Site Component • Photographed donation advocates • Created print collateral: • 24” by 36” foam core posters • 8 ½” by 11” flyers • Table tents

  11. Recruitment and Execution • Collaborative effort between the Hospital Development and Communications Departments • Setting up meetings • Pitching the campaign • Coordinating photo shoots • Distributing materials • Communicating updates

Results • 37 Hospitals for Hope partners • More than 4,200 registrations/reaffirmations • 700+ “Likes” on Facebook • Countless impressions with key stakeholders • Month-long exposure of the Gift of Hope brand and message via on-site and on-line components • Gave a voice to organ and tissue donation within hospitals
