Post 16 Ofsted Experience • Focus on Leadership and Management, Data, Progress, Attainment • Almost a separate Inspection in itself • Know the data and what it means for groups • Spoke to many students • Folder trawls of Post 16 students • Ensure SLT are Ofsted ready in all areas • SLT paired lesson observations • Provide evidence folders of student tracking

Post 16 Experience (cont) • Triangulation of evidence and data with observations and student interviews • Classroom focus on pace, challenge, A4L and differentiation • ‘Free’ sixth formers used to escort Inspectors • Inspectors observed SLT giving feedback to staff • Make sure staff go for feedback!
